Problem publishing from LightRoom to Flickr

bilang:

I have used Flickr from Aperture for years to publish a mix of pictures and videos to albums, but am switching to LightRoom (LR) because Apple tree dropped Discontinuity. I am using LR nine.2 on a mid 2014 MacBookPro with OS ten.xiv.3. The Adobe Flickr plug-in has bug which they admit, so i switched to jfFlickr, which has worked peachy, until now. I had to delete from Flickr an album, including about ninety pictures and x cursory MOV videos, which I had previously published from LR. But when I try to re-publish information technology, the post-obit dialog pops up:
"Tin can't continue: a previously-uploaded video is included in the Publish performance, but Flickr does not allow videos to be replaced. You might delete it from the publish service, then re-add and republish, or just featherbed the functioning by correct-clicking on its thumbnail and "Mark every bit Up-to-Date"

I tried deleting all movies of that appointment from Flicker, including the photo stream. But LR still gives the same dialog. HOW Can I Go FLICKR TO FORGET THESE VIDEOS then the re-publish can continue?

BTW, I am working with Adobe on this as well, but they have not even so come up up with any solution. When I right click on one of the movies in LR, it does not requite the choice of "Mark as Upwardly-to-Date" Delight HELP.

What practice y'all hateful "including the photo stream"?
The photostream is the only place where the files are stored.

The organizr in Flcker lets you delete images/videos from an album, but they stay in the photo stream. Simply y'all can delete them from the photo stream in Flickr. However, LR thinks they are still in that location.

I think I constitute a solution to my problem. Stand by for a post subsequently afterwards I verify it.

I use the same flckr plugin from lightroom as you exercise.

You may just demand to re-run the plugin scan over again.

To mark it upward to date, you need to wait at the prototype in the flickr collection. When you right click on the image in that location, you will encounter the marker as upwards to appointment choice.

This is not visible if you view the image from anywhere else

Hi there, I have your email in my inbox, so I'll respond to you there, but wanted to also publicly provide a workaround for the issue you lot're having.

You can create a virtual copy of the videos/photos and republish those.

-OR-

1. Select the paradigm(s) yous want to refresh (presumably, all of the videos, or even all of the items in the album/drove that you are trying to re-publish), and then go to "File -> Plug-in Extras".

2. You lot should then exist able to hit "Refresh Remote URL" on the screen that comes up and it will articulate out the local data for those videos.

3. Then hit "Dismiss Dialog" in the lower-right corner, and you tin can select "Publish" again and the upload should get through.

Thank you! I found a similar solution that makes use of "Jeffrey'due south Lightroom Goodies", which came with his Plug-In.
i. In LR, Select the images or videos that won't publish.
2. From the Library carte in LR, select the bottom entry: Plug-In Extras, which brings up a brusque menu under jfFlickr: Flickr Extras.
3. Click on that and the dialog box shown in the screenshot that I will endeavour to adhere appears.
4. Click on the bottom button "Articulate" and the items will publish properly.
I will let Adobe know well-nigh this as well as the other solutions posted above.

Thanks! that must be what the LR dialog box was trying to say:
".....or just bypass the operation past right-clicking on its thumbnail and "Mark as Upwards-to-Date" Adobe apparently tried to keep the note generic, but information technology ended up looking similar they were talking nigh LR, when information technology was actually in Flickr that you need to right-click on the thumbnail.

Thanks once again for all of the help!

New question: I need to thin out an album to get rid of a few virtually identical pix. Is it better to do it in LR by eliminating them from the smart publish drove, then re-publish, or to do it in Flickr using Organizr?
